I would imagine that the bird is almost as handsome as you, Sami. It is a little ironic that all my sightings of this species have been in the UK, where there is an established population. In several trips through Asia I have never seen the bird, in areas where it originated. Probably persecuted by humans and locally extirpated. We are so wise, aren’t we?
These are truly beautiful birds and are at their most magnificent in the wild. Unfortunately, humans are the most dangerous beasts in the world. Heh heh, I'm not that handsome.
