Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Finns all: Welcome to the Long-tailed Tit feeding extravaganza at Sami’s house. I suggest you all pay a visit. No appointment necessary but a donation of bird seed would be greatly appreciated. Clearly this is the Long-tailed Tit capital of Europe and Sami has the distinct honour of being a tit-whistler. Few have such impressive talent. He should be on a commemorative stamp.
Dear Sami, this is a glorious sight that I rarely get to see living in Montreal in a 6th floor apartment. We are not permitted to feed wildlife and we can be heavily fined if we are caught doing it. I just love ❤️ nature and seeing these birds 🐦 at a feeder is beautiful and your photos bring me joy. Thank you for sharing.
I completely understand. Here in Finland there are also feeding bans, e.g. in terraced house. There are two official feeding places here. I think they are very important places. Otherwise it is difficult for the little birds to survive the harsh winter.
Oh this is photo straight from a magazine, bravoooo. Abdolutely perfect photo, love it very much. 💖💖💖💖💖💖
